ANNOTATIONS

Image Copyright DC Comics

Page 1, panel 73
Booster Gold is seen on the Justice League Watchtower as an attendee of the annual holiday party. Other identifiable attendees in the panel include Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern Kyle Rayner, Flash (Wally West), and Donna Troy. The red scalloped cape on the top left of the panel is probably a miscolored Batman, whose cape is appropriately gray in previous panels. Despite the "cover," Superman is not seen in the story. It is hard to tell when this party takes place; the Justice League Watchtower shown belonged to the JLA of the late 1990s, and Booster is wearing a dapper jacket over his collared costume, essentially the same costume he wore as leader of the Conglomerate prior to Superman's death, but the presence of Damien Wayne and Wally West's children in the story suggest a more recent party, maybe even 2024. (Note: The panel number listed above is an approximation. There are many montages of Flash in motion in this story which could be interpreted as individual panels, inflating this number greatly.)
