Page 11, panel 3
Booster Gold and Guy Gardner arrive at the residence of Fire in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Fire is aware of the death of Blue Beetle II and has already launched her own investigation into the embezzlement mystery that lead Blue Beetle to his death. Fire likely has some connections in law enforcement to back up her claim, as before she was ever a hero, she was an operative for the Brazilian government.

Page 12, panel 7
When Fire asks if Beetle had met with Maxwell Lord before his death, Booster looks shocked. In fact, it was Booster's idea for Beetle to meet with Lord and seek help for Beetle's problem in Countdown to Infinite Crisis #1. Though Booster is still not aware of it, this directly led to Beetle's death and Booster's hospitalization.

REVIEWS

Boosterrific Review: This issue focuses entirely on the aftermath of events teased at the conclusion of the previous issue, so readers who have not kept up with a number of crossover titles will no doubt be immediately confused. The story capitalizes on this artificial confusion as chaos erupts in the aftermath of the death of Maxwell Lord. The issue is tense and fast-paced, but a lingering resentment over the feeling of having "missed out" on something after such a paradigm shift between issues of this series prevents this from being a perfect issue.
