ISSUE DETAILS

Cover Description: Flash is surrounded by shape shifting Durlans, most of whom are aiming guns at him. (No Booster Gold.)

Brief Synopsis: Wally West heads to Cuba to do his part to save it from an alien invasion.

Costume Worn: MARK I power-suit

Issue Notes: This book is a tie-in with the Invasion! mini-series. Judging by Booster's unbruised face, the events of this issue take place immediately following the events of Invasion! Book One and prior to the events of Justice League International #22.

ANNOTATIONS

Image Copyright DC Comics

Page 3, panel 4
When Wally West calls the Titans, he is transferred to the Justice League International, where Oberon answers the phone. Oberon chews Wally out for the way that his mother treated the Booster Gold and Blue Beetle in Justice League International #19.

Page 4, panel 2
Booster takes pity on Wally. "He's got a pretty rough life. I've met his mom." Ouch.

Page 4, panel 5
Booster assists in recovering West from the streets of New York to the JLI Embassy and then to Washington D.C. This is the first time that the two heroes have met since the events of Millennium a year prior. These events occur off panel, and it is unclear what method Booster uses to recover Flash since he doesn't currently have access to Blue Beetle's Bug or the Justice League Shuttle.

REVIEWS

Boosterrific Review: In this issue, Wally West meets the Justice League International, recovers his lost powers, sleeps with an alien, and pals around with Castro, all in 22 pages. This comic would be considerably better if less were happening, for while the Flash may be the Fastest Man Alive, that doesn't mean that his stories should careen wildly at break-neck speed from one confusing situation to another.
