ISSUE ANNOTATIONS

Page 1, panel 8
Batman, Black Canary II, Black Lightning, Blue Beetle III, Booster Gold, Green Arrow, Green Lantern II, John Stewart (as a Green Lantern), Metamorpho, Mr. Terrific II, and Sasha Bordeaux search for the cloaked Brother Eye satellite aboard the Bug of Blue Beetle II in space.

Image Copyright DC Comics

Page 13, panel 6
After forcing their way past the defenses of the Brother Eye, Batman's team storms the satellite, leaving Booster Gold and Blue Beetle III behind to guard their escape vehicle, the Bug. Despite all his experience, Booster is again left behind to guard the rear.

Page 28, panel 3
Booster is as surprised as everyone else when Blue Beetle III dematerializes as the heroes plan to return to Earth. Even though Booster knew that Blue Beetle could find the Brother Eye satellite, he seems as unaware of the powers of the new Blue Beetle as the Beetle himself.

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: What truly differentiates this series from so many major event stories before it is the honest characterization of the inhabitants of the DC Universe that are driving it. Writer Geoff Johns has built a story from decades of interactions between characters, not in spite of it. This is clearly evident in this penultimate issue of the series with the future of the universe as our heroes know it on the line.
