Who Are the Infected?
In July 2019, prior to San Diego Comic-Con International 2019, DC Comics teased the August relaunch of Batman/Superman #1 with this promotional poster, "DC Year of the Villain: Who Are the Infected?" Like many recent DC event stories, the image of a giant Batman Who Laughs and his Robins manipulating the heroes of the DC Universe is allegorical. It is unclear what role, if any Booster Gold, who appears between Flash and Wonder Woman, will play in the story. Drawn by Nick Bradshaw, inked by Cully Hamner, and colored by Hi-Fi Designs, the ad appeared in books released the week of August 14, 2019.
