Happy New Year
Booster booster Blot added another key commission to his Booster Gold sketchbook in 2019, but I'll let him explain in his Twitter post:
That's awesome, Blot. Congrats.
May everyone have as fortunate a 2020.

The Blot's Sketchbook: Comicpalooza 2019
I wasn't planning on starting the week with any Booster Gold art, but when the Blot tweeted the latest addition to his sketchbook, I couldn't wait to share it.
This sketch was commissioned from artist Jae Lee at Comicpalooza 2019. I'm sure you'll agree it makes a fine addition to The Blot's collection, and a boosterrific way to start your week. Thanks for sharing, Blot!

A Man For All Seasons
The Blot's Booster Gold sketchbook grew by one at Houston's Comicpalooza last weekend. Check out this commission from Kevin Maguire:
Booster looks so serious. No doubt, he's just as frustrated by his prolonged absence from comic books as we are.
Here's a Maguire Booster sketch from happier times:
Obviously, Booster's happier in the high collar. Aren't we all?
This second commission comes from Matt Santori, who shared his commissioned sketch on Twitter in 2013. It's four years old and still looking Boosterrific!

Mike Zeck Added to The Blot's Sketchbook
I love getting emails from The Blot because they usually contain updates about his ever-expanding Booster Gold sketch commissions. His latest message:
Thought I'd share the newest addition to my Booster Gold sketchbook for the website. It's by Mike Zeck and its from Comicpalooza a few weeks ago here in Houston.

The Blot is headed to San Diego Comic Con International this week. Here's hoping he comes back with a heaping helping of new sketchbook commissions!
You can see more of The Blot's sketchbook at Flickr.com. As always, thanks for sharing, Blot!

The Blot's Booster Gold Sketchbook Returns
Thrice before we've seen The Blot's Booster Gold sketchbook commissions. (Here, here, and here.) Now that convention season has returned, so has The Blot!
From left to right, those sketches are by Aaron Lopresti and Neal Adams (!) commissioned at Comicpalooza in Houston, Texas, his past weekend. Click on the images to see The Blot's larger pics, or visit the whole sketchbook in much larger detail at The Blot Says' Flickr page. While you're out and about, also consider dropping by The Blot's blog, TheBlotSays.com.
Footnote: via Twitter, The Blot paraphrased Neal Adams as saying it was only the third time he'd drawn Booster Gold. Adams hasn't ever drawn Booster in a DC comic so far as I am aware, so where are those other Neal Adams Booster Gold sketches, hmm?
