ANNOTATIONS

Page 1, panel 3
Booster Gold is one of a half dozen heroes inside the Hall of Justice who, under the influence of The Batman Who Laughs, have captured Lex Luthor.

Page 5, panel 1
POWER DOWN: When the Joker surprise attacks (with an antique fully automatic Thompson machine gun), Booster runs away with the other corrupted heroes. That's an odd thing for Booster, the man with the invulnerable force field, to have done. Does this mean that the corrupted heroes don't have full access to their mental faculties? More likely is that the very process that turns heroes into villains also destroys their heroic qualities like teamwork and courage.

Booster Gold and his fellow heroes-turned-villains confront the Legion of Doom in front of the Hall of Justice. Who exactly is the reader supposed to be cheering for here?

REVIEWS

Boosterrific Review: As a longtime DC Universe fan, I enjoyed the meta elements of the conversation between two longtime DC super villains. But not a lot else happens here, and what does happen doesn't make a lot of sense.
