ANNOTATIONS

Page 7, panel 1
Deadman joins Booster Gold and Superman as the Man of Steel first meets Doomsday (as seen in Superman, Volume 2, #74, Page 8, panel 3). It is easy to explain Deadman's absence from Superman, as Deadman is invisible, intangible, and inaudible in his natural incorporeal form.

Page 8, panel 3
Unfortunately for Booster Gold, Deadman is unable to help as Doomsday pounds Booster Gold into unconsciousness (as seen in Superman, Volume 2, #74, Page 10, panel 1).

Page 9, panel 3
Again, Deadman plays the role of narrator as Doomsday decimates the Justice League (as seen in Superman, Volume 2, #74, Page 15, panel 1). This is Booster Gold's last appearance in this issue.

REVIEWS

Boosterrific Review: This series is an exercise in futility. In each issue so far, Deadman revisits a significant death in the history of the DC Universe only to fail to change history. That being said, if the reader can ignore the repetition, each issue does present a nostalgic return to earlier stories, each adding a little bit to the background tapestry of the event. This is good for longtime DCU fans, bad for those seeking a great story.
