Nothing Says Etsy Like a Booster Gold Mask
Etsy is a great place to get handmade gear inspired by comic books. Take, for example, this sleep mask:
That's only $10 from TheGeekForge. It's just one of the many pieces they make. (Their Adam West Batman sleep mask is a thing of beauty!) A portion of their proceeds go to the Hero Initiative, so you know you can rest easy.

Happy Birthday, Dan Jurgens!
Today is Dan Jurgens birthday, but I'm sure you don't need me to remind you of that. All Booster Gold fans already have Jurgens' birthday marked on their calendars every year, right? Right?
Jurgens was recently approached by fan blogger Chris Sheehan at the Phoenix ComicCon. Chris wrote this about their meeting.
I ambled on over, and introduced myself... you know that feeling when you think about meeting one of your heroes and totally being underwhelmed or disappointed... or maybe you just caught 'em on a bad day? Well, those fears vanished as soon as I shook his hand. He was super friendly, and made me feel like he was happy to be meeting me!
I totally relate to Chris' reaction to meeting Mr. Jurgens. I have to admit that I've never met him in person, but Jurgens has been nothing but gracious and engaging in our occasional email exchanges.
Chris goes on to give his review of Booster Gold #1 (spoiler alert: he liked it) on his blogspot blog Chris Is On Infinite Earths, which, if for no other reason, you should visit for its great title!
So thanks again to Dan Jurgens: making so many fans happy for so many years!

Pics Or It Didn't Happen
Remember that time that Batman decked Guy Gardner in Justice League #5? So does artist Meredith McClaren.
I love the surprised reaction from Blue and Gold in the background. Low five!
You can see more work by McClaren (aka Iniquitous Fish) on Tumblr.com.

For Your Aural Pleasure
The JLI Bwah-Ha-Ha Podcast has finally gotten around to discussing the single best Justice League issue ever.
This was not the first Justice League issue I ever bought, but I sure wish it had been. I still rank this one as my favorite Booster Gold story ever.
You can find the JLI podcast at the Fire And Water Podcast Network.
And if that doesn't slate your thirst for people talking about Booster Gold — as if that was possible — don't forget about the Silver and Gold Podcast at Splitting Atoms Blog. Their latest podcast discusses Booster's origin as seen in Booster Gold #6.
When everyone is talking about Booster Gold, we all win!

Heroes Con Is a Convention for Heroes
This weekend, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, and Captain Marvel Shazam got together in Charlotte, North Carolina. Warlord Worlds has the proof from Heroes Convention 2016 on Twitter.com:
Those three heroes sure look like they're having a good time, don't they? I guess that's to be expected when you're attending a convention in your honor.
Thanks for the snapshot, Warlord Worlds.
Update 2016-06-23: On Twitter.com, Kord Industries (@KordIndustries1) tells us that the Beetle cosplayer in the picture is Rusty Winns (@RustyWinns). Thanks!
Update 2016-06-30: I should have mentioned before now that the Booster Gold cosplayer in the picture is Jay Tallsquall. Sorry for that oversight, Jay.
