Happy Halloween
Want to challenge the establishment while earning a legion of fans this Halloween? Then you need to go to your Halloween parties dressed dressed as Booster Gold! Of course this is a natural conclusion for Booster boosters, and now that's easier than ever thanks to DoitStyle.com.
Are they licensed by DC? No. A licensed Booster Gold costume is still too much to ask, apparently. The true barometer of a pop-culture character's success is its translation to a cheap plastic children's Halloween costume. Booster may not be there yet, but thanks to DoitStyle.com, we're closer than ever.
Made to order, doitstyles.com will make costumes in customizable sizes for men and women. If you've got a friend, they'll make Blue Beetle costumes, too. Considering their week-plus turn around time, it is too late to order your own costume for tonight's holiday, but it's never too early to plan ahead!

Does This Make Me Look Fat?
There's no surprise that DC Universe Online wins this week's poll in a landslide. It's really the only game in which players can interact with DC's official Booster Gold in all his salesman glory. However, every game has its fans except for one: has nobody played the new DC Adventures RPG yet, or is it really just not that good in comparison to these other fine games?
Last week's poll question: What is the best game that includes Booster Gold? (32 votes)
Halloween is upon us, and since the holiday falls on a Monday this year, festivities will run throughout the weekend. Most of the fun of the Halloween holiday is choosing a costume. Do you live a power fantasy as dressing like one of your heroes? Or do you take the opportunity to prove your geekiness by dressing like your favorite niche character? Let's find out.

A Very Distinctive Dunny
Back in July, I discovered a Booster Gold customized vinyl figure called a Mighty Mugg. Turns out that a Mighty Mugg is only one type of customizable vinyl figure. Apparently, there are similar figures called Dunnys. They are like Mighty Muggs, but with ears.
The above 3" Blue and Gold figures above were customized by an artist named Nikejerk. There's much more information about the pair of figures in Nikejerk's Flickr.com account. It is beginning to look like wherever there are customizable vinyl figures, someone is making a Booster Gold figure. That's a thought guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Heroes! Asks If Booster Gold Can Go Too Far
Blue and Gold may be lost to the DCnU, but their adventures continue in Eyz's latest Heroes! / Supperbuddies! strip.
There's something mighty wrong with the DCnU if it means that Manhunter no longer likes cookies. Clicking on the image above will take you to a much larger (and easier to read) version at heroes-comix.blogspot.com.

Booster Gold Goes to Sunday School
Sure, Booster Gold makes a punchline foil for youtube animations, but how about Booster Gold as a vehicle for teaching Christianity? That's what author and evangelist Charles B. French does in his recent blog post about "The Greatest Story Never Told":
What Booster doesn't get is that his job is just as important as Superman's. In fact, it's more important, because the reason Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are putting their lives on the line is to protect the innocent. If Booster doesn't make sure that the people escape before the bad guy obliterates the city, then the heroes are fighting in vain. He's got the most important job.
This is how God thinks.
Booster Gold. Is there anything he's not good for?
That's just a small snippet of French's Christian-perpective review of the Justice League Unlimited episode. No matter what your religion, you have to admit, that's a great television episode. The whole review is posted on his website at charlesbfrench.com.
