Gold Exchange: Vanishing Point 2
Russ Burlingame quizzes Dan Jurgens about his reasons for including Claw the Unconquered and Starfire in his latest "Gold Exchange" column at Newsarama.com. I'd advise those of you who haven't managed to find a copy of Time Masters: Vanishing Point #2 to stay away from the interview until you grab a copy of the book. I'm not implying that it's a spoiler filled interview. I just think that it will make more sense once you've read the issue.

Dress for Success
Late last week, Shag from Once Upon A Geek called this to my attention:
After 2 decades, DC has finally licensed a Booster Gold symbol t-shirt! (Deadman is getting one, too. And he's been around since 1967. That's patience! Of course, he's dead, so it was easy for him to wait for the opportunity.)
This sucker is in the September Previews. It won't be available for several weeks, but fear not! You can order it from your favorite LCS. Or, if you're the procrastinating sort, you will one day be able to order it directly from Graphitti's website here.

DC Fans Love Spoiler Alert!
Two weeks ago, I posted a link to Spoiler Alert! and their single "Booster Gold." It now appears that the song is beginning to spread like wildfire, at least through comic book circles. While typically fire in comic book circles would be a bad thing, I think we can agree this is pretty okay.
Not only is Spoiler Alert! appearing on blogs such as Comics Daily and Geek Native, but the album is being promoted via an interview with singer Eddie Argos on ComicsAlliance.com. In part thanks to the comic book blogosphere, Spoiler Alert! is now currently the number 1 viewed, shared, and -- most importantly -- selling album on Corporate Records UK website. How's that for peer pressure?

Booster Gold Worships at the Aquaman Shrine
There appears to have been some debate last week over at The Aquaman Shrine about some mystery character appearing in a 1993 trading card. Turns out that the character was none other than Booster Gold. One would have thought that by now Booster Gold would have reached market saturation among DC Comic fans, though admittedly Booster has spent very little time with the King of the Sea. They've only shared 28 comic books in the past two decades, and I can't presently think of any instances where the two characters actually communicated. Hmm. Maybe it's about time these two had a dedicated crossover.
