You Got Booster Gold in My Tank Engine
Hold on to your cabooses, Booster boosters, but there's about to be a Booster Gold-themed toy train.
That's the Thomas the Tank Engine character Dash dressed as Booster Gold, and he's just one of many new character mash-ups coming soon to a retailer near you, according to Matthew Mueller at ComicBook.com
If you've got a young child, you might already be familiar with the Thomas & Friends Minis line of toys by Fisher-Price. There have been DC Comics variants of these toys for a couple of years, but Booster Gold is a new twist.
(I have only one complaint about this development. In TtTE mythology, Dash has a twin brother named Bash. So why isn't there a Blue Beetle-themed Bash to go with my Booster Gold Dash, Fisher-Price? #MissedOpportunity)
Either April Fool's Day has come early this year, or you'll be able to buy "Dash as Booster Gold" later this month.

Where Do They Get Those Wonderful Toys?
Fire and Ice had cornered Lady Shiva beside the loading docks. With the rest of the Justice League International elsewhere hunting Deathstroke the Terminator, it was up to Bea and Tora to apprehend the most dangerous martial artist in the DC Universe. Two against one, and Shiva doesn't even have any metagene powers. It should be easy, right? Wrong.
Unbeknownst to our heroines, Lady Shiva was not alone. As Fire and Ice were discovering the truth behind Lady Shiva's hard-earned reputation, they were also being stalked by David Cain, another world-class assassin. Cain had Fire and Ice square in the sights of his sniper rifle. His finger tightened on the trigger, preparing to loose the bullet that would permanently snuff out Fire's green flame.
A streak of blue and gold unexpectedly sliced through the sky, a nigh-impenetrable force field intercepting the bullet's path! Blue Beetle and Booster Gold had arrived to save the day!
One well-aimed duo attack BB Gun and Booster Shot blast later, Lady Shiva was down for the count! Having felled Deathstroke single-handedly, Batman soon arrived out of the shadows to KO Cain. Assassins apprehended, the JLI could consider their latest adventure a rousing success!
The above adventure has never been published in a DC Comic. Nor was it an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold or even a piece of Internet fan-fiction. No, that's a summary of a 300-point game of WizKids' Heroclix that I played this past weekend.
Justice League #001 Batman, 75 points
Brave and the Bold #052 Blue Beetle and Booster Gold, 82 points
Brave and the Bold #050 Fire and Ice, 131 points
Armor Piercing on Fire and Ice, 10 pointsVERSUS
Batman: Streets of Gotham #038 David Cain, 76 points
Batman: Streets of Gotham #040 Deathstroke, 147 points
Batman: Streets of Gotham #039 Lady Shiva, 67 points
Armor Piercing on David Cain, 10 points
The New 52 may have erased the classic JLI from existence, but so long as we don't forget our heroes, they'll always be having new adventures with us.

White Lantern Booster Gold
Remember that time that Booster Gold was declared legally dead? No? Justice League Task Force #13? That's okay, saber4735 does, and he has made a custom White Lantern Booster Gold to prove it.
If Blackest Night is included in the DCnU continuity but Ted Kord isn't, does that mean that Booster Gold has never encountered White or Black Lanterns? And if Booster was a White Lantern, doesn't that mean that he could resurrect Ted Kord? And since Skeets is a robot, how could he be a White Lantern?
Whatever the case, there are more pictures of the figure at figurerealm.com.

Kids, Buy Booster Flakes!
While enjoying the holiday, Morgenstern noted that while Booster Gold didn't make the roster of Fisher Price's DC Super Friends line of toys, he did make it into their cartoon. At least their cartoon billboards.
This 2010 cartoon, "The Joker's Plahouse," re-imagining the classic 1970s Super Friends was released with the Fisher-Price® Imaginext™ DC SUPER FRIENDS™ toy line. Despite being a toy giveaway, the quality is surprisingly high.
Fortunately for those of us who aren't buying toys for 3-year-olds, Fisher Price has uploaded the cartoon to their YouTube account. You can watch the whole cartoon here. To see Booster, you can jump to 4:15 of the above linked video. However, but those of you who are a bit more nostalgic -- or big fans of Ted Knight impersonators -- may want to watch it all from the beginning. It's mmmm... good.

Nothing Says Etsy Like a Pillow Sidekick
Maybe it's not a real robot, but you can get your hands on a roughly life-sized Skeets at Etsy.com.
This Justice League Unlimited-inspired Skeets doll is available from the Etsy.com store of Kid Crimson Flash, who also offers Booster Gold-themed shoes. It sure seems like Etsy.com is becoming the web's go-to place for Booster Gold stuff.
