Vacation Art: Day Two
I'm out of town and away from the computer for the week, but I've still got your daily dose of Booster Gold covered.
Michael Goff commissioned this from Chris Uminga at Emerald City Comic Con 2011 and then shared it with the world by way of ComicArtFans.com. Thank you, Micheal (and Chris).

Together Again for the First Time
Want to own a piece of the first battle between Booster Gold and the evil Supernova? Now you can!
This original art by Dan Jurgens and Norm Rapmund from Booster Gold, Volume 2, #3 is for sale on ComicArtFans.com. The asking price is $165.00, but that's a small price to pay for a piece of history!
UPDATE 2014-04-30: This seems as good a post as any to note that Newsarama.com confirms that Jurgens will be writing the upcoming Booster Gold:Futures End one-shot. No word yet on the artists.

Wanted Poster Reward
Here at Boosterrific, we are developing quite a relationship with the Kevin Maguire/Terry Austin "Class of 87" Justice League International poster.
You may recall that back in August I solicited help getting a close-up of Batman's shoulder. I am finally at liberty to tell you why: the original art was in need of some repair, and the new owner, Malvin, needed a photo reference. Now the work is back from the restorer, and it looks great.
In addition to this piece, Malvin has a very impressive catalog of art online at ComicArtFans.com that you may enjoy (including a much larger resolution image of these inks). We both offer thanks to everyone who helped, especially Shawn Baston.

Booster Gold on Commission
After Wednesday's post, Herb Fung has emailed to let us know that he's uploaded some Booster Gold commissions from the 2010 Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo at comicartfans.com. You can find Booster Gold drawn by Art Baltazar (Tiny Titans) here and a drawing by Marcus To (Red Robin) here. Thanks, Herb!
P.S. I'm working on a site addition detailing the behind-the-scenes creation of Booster Gold as revealed by none other than Dan Jurgens himself. I hope to have that completed by next week, so watch this space for upcoming details.

On Commission: Please Don't Cancel Me
A couple of convention sketches of Booster Gold by Chris Batista and Norm Rapmund from Comic Con International 2010 have been posted by their new owner, David Setterlund, at Comic Art Fans.com (Batista here and Rapmund here). Rapmund's pencils are unsurprisingly strong and dark. And no matter how you feel about Batista's stylized art, if you are reading this you probably agree with his word balloon: "please don't cancel me."
