Hmmm....sixty seconds. Not sure if this will fit but here's my 10 cents...for what it's worth.

Booster Gold is a thief from the future with a dream to get paid for saving the day.

As shallow as he may seem at times, he does care for the people he's protecting and he's willing to sacrifice his reputation if necessary.

Few see beyond the shallow cad persona so Booster has few real friends. For the friends he does have, Booster will go the wall to protect them and, if he can't protect them, he'll bring down whoever hurt them.

Not sure if I've really gotten this perfect, but it's the best I could do off the top of my head. I know Booster's no saint, we all know that, but if we are going to introduce a new generation I figure we want to put Booster's best foot forward.

I don't have any online vid experience I'm afraid, or I'd help out. If you need some minor Photoshopping, that I can do.

A selfless hero, secretly protecting the whole of human history while hiding behind the image of a failure and buffoon. That's one tough act to pull off considering his origins as a true glory hound. Can you say irony?

Booster Gold is a person who struggles with the conflict between his desire to be a hero, and his desire to be seen as a hero. He wants to save the world. He also wants the fame, the fortune, the fans. And he wants friendship and family. But his story often turns very poignant when he has to give up on all of these things in order to save the world. The story is often very funny, but sometimes sad. You won't find a more well-rounded or multidimensional action comedy character than Booster Gold.

It's definitely the tension between many of these things that creates the Booster we all love. It's how he seeks both glory and genuine heroism; the times he has to choose between the right thing and the visible thing; the tension between involving his family in his life and concern for their own lives. It's getting his superpowers by theft, but being a dedicated enough hero to earn Batman's accolades in BG 1000000. It's Blue Beetle pondering Booster's heroism facing Doomsday even while working on his own because Booster was shooting an ad (and--SPOILER ALERT--dying without Booster there). It's the fact that he's the kind of guy who will have a roomful of Justice League promotions made up, but also the kind of guy who won't release them.
