Booster Gold appeared briefly on the Cartoon Network's Batman: The Brave and the Bold last Friday as the unwitting contestant in "Riddle Me This?", a mock television game show masquerading for the Riddler's latest death trap for Batman. The episode, "A Bat Divided!" was amusing throughout despite the brief screen time of the Corporate Crusader. Of particular amusement was the Riddler's silencing of Skeets through the clever application of a simple cloth gag. That's good television.

Even though I have only seen two appearances by Booster on that show, I love it and watch it every week, it consistently makes me geek out with all of the references to comics history. A must watch for anyone even remotely interested in comics.

tiggerpete: If you've seen "Menace of the Conqueror Caveman!", you've seen the other real Booster episode. He only has a background part for a split second in "Mayhem of the Music Meister!" Brave and the Bold is a real mixed bag, as it should be; 2 weeks ago the Metal Men and now Firestorm plus, like, 2 dozen Silver Age Batman villains including a major (and completely comic accurate) part for Doctor Double X! It's an awesome show.

I've started watching these with my 4 year old son and the nostalgia it evokes is fantastic. The Bat-mite episode (Legends of the Dark Mite) was a hoot. Laughed out loud a couple of times and have added "Awesome Sauce" to my vocabulary. It also got my son interested in Blue Beetle (Jamie Reyes). I think they have a real winner of a cartoon.
