We're Not Worthy

The legendary artist George PÃ©rez has drawn a lot of comics, but he will probably always be most associated with 1985's Crisis on Infinite-Earths, indubitably the best showcase for his inimitable ability to depict an entire multiverse of characters in a single panel.

Booster Gold, being the first character to debut in the post-Crisis on Infinite Earths DC Universe, arrived too late to appear under PÃ©rez's pencil at the time, but PÃ©rez has managed to squeeze Booster into a few adventures in the decades since:

This news hit me pretty hard. Perez is a staple to my love of comics. I own most all his work for good reason. Plus he was such a nice chap when I've met him twice. Thanks for putting this up, it was nice to see all the official Boosters he's drawn and I love they almost always have the collar.

Makes me cherish my commission I got from him even more. I hope the best for him with the time he has left and hope he knows how beloved his work is for many. Great artist, great writer, great fellow.

Those are all the panels I know of where the art originated with PÃ©rez. He contributed to INFINITE CRISIS mostly finishing art originating with Phil Jimenez. So far as I am aware, Booster appears in none of the IC panels that George drew. Similar story with DC UNIVERSE LEGACIES 6 which George inked on top of art drawn by Kolins and Ordway. He also co-wrote (with Dan Jurgens) a Booster cameo in ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN 458. For links to those issues at Boosterrific, see www.boosterrific.com/artists/books/George+Perez

I appreciate it. I was hoping I had owned all the Perez touched Booster stuff, and turns out I do.

He told me in person once, like Vibe he really enjoyed that Booster had big characteristic goggles. Said it was a good way to spot him in a crowd.

In the Infinite Crisis Hardcover there are a few extra pages and modifications on all issues of the series. In the last pages of issue 7 there is a whole new splash page showcasing a lot of DC heroes. I believe that new page is "all Perez" and Booster is depicted in it:https://www.zonanegativa.com/imagen/5793.jpg

Another Perez drawing showcasing Booster that comes to my mind is the cover of JLA/Avengers # 3 where we have a cool Booster cameo.
