Last week's poll question: How will the cancellation of JLI affect your comic book-buying habits? (42 votes)
I agree with you, voters. The prospect of no Booster Gold after September still has me worried about how long I'll be left waiting for my next Booster fix. DC will have to put Booster in something to get my monthly $4.00 back. After Booster's appearance in Blue Beetle last week, I'm wondering if the duo are destined to be reunited.

I like this idea ALOT, Booster was getting lost in a pretty mediocre crowd with JLI. A buddy book sounds like just the thing for more character development of our golden hero. Who knows, a Blue & Gold book might give us old timers a fresh perspective on Ted's heir.

Why not let Booster mentor Jaime long term?

Why does Booster wind up in Beetle's book? Shouldn't this younger Beetle be a sidekick to Booster in a Booster Gold comic?

Call me a Booster purist (which is odd since I was 2 when the first issue came out) but I wouldn't want to see the Blue and Gold reincarnated if it wasn't with Ted.
Seeing DC trying to cash in on B&G nostalgia without bothering to resurrect Ted would really bum me out. Seems disrespectful to Ted (yes I know he's fictional, I need to stop getting so sentimental).
If they threw in Ted as an industrialist with a heart (condition) of gold though, then I think I could be persuaded to follow their adventures.

My dream title would be a Booster & Ted & Jaime book. I'm okay with both!
Well, whatever so long as I get Booster~

I really, really love Jaime, but Booster and Jaime aren't Blue & Gold for me. I really don't like the way that DC is trying to push that Booster and Jaime could be the new B&G; they just don't have that kind of relationship that Ted and Booster have. But, I agree with the other comments, I would love to see Booster mentoring Jaime. Though, even more I would love to see Booster AND Ted mentoring Jaime.
I think that if someway DC brought Ted back for a Blue & Gold series, it would be a huge up in sales for them from fans of both characters or fans who enjoy seeing them interact. It would also be a fantastic way to show more development in both of their characters and get them away from the stereotype of 'comedic relief' that they've warranted from the JLI days (don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the JLI days, but I also love seeing Booster playing a more serious role like in '52' and the second volume of the Booster Gold series, or Ted in Countdown to Infinite Crisis).

Hate to say it, but...
TED'S DEAD
Has been for 7 years, we're not getting him back any time soon (if ever)
