I'm not alone in trying to guess what's coming next. Among those speculating is Tom Bondurant, who considers the JLI's future in his "Grumpy Old Fan" column for Comic Book Resources's Robot 6 blog.
Take note that's the same Wally West who, despite being the focus of the past 25 years of Flash comics, hasn't been seen since his predecessor ruined history in Flashpoint. Could Skeets be busy behind-the-scenes working to restore the missing West to reality? Or does DiDio just mean that we won't be seeing Skeets anytime soon, either?

Somehow DiDio's "love" seems to feel rather abusive..and I am always scarred when he mentions "plans" for characters I care about. Keeping someone in limbo is a plan as well after all.

Sir... I think I'm getting scared.
I'll miss you all... *retconned out*

Don't worry Skeets! You have to look on the bright side, though. judging by the current situation of "Nu52", you're probably better off staying within the limbo, without anyone ruining you.
I mean look at the Booster's new suit and the new JLI as a whole.

I understand that plans are in the works for Wally to return as "FLASH PRIME" ;> heheheh
...there, that oughta take care of any fans who haven't already been disenfranchised.

On the same panel, DC re-confirmed that they will be reintroducing a formerly heterosexual DC hero as a homosexual. Hello, nu52 Wallace West?
Grimmy posted on May. 22, 2012 at 3:48 PM
One who hasn't been seen yet in the nu52. Skeets? Have you been keeping secrets again?
What about Ted Kord? Would it be worth such a major character change to have Ted back? hmmm?
deusex2 posted on May. 22, 2012 at 6:41 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong, but The Blue and The Gold don't exist in nu52, however Ted Kord does...Or at least that's how I understood one of the interviews.
Grimmy should totally go through the previous news several(dozen) times to read it himself :)
Grimmy posted on May. 22, 2012 at 7:23 PM
deusex, as I understand it Ted Kord does indeed exist, although I don't think he has been introduced in the nu52 yet. I'm not sure what Blue and Gold has to do with it, Jamie's the Blue Beetle now right?
BTW the terms DC used were, major, male, character, not hero. Could even be a villain based on that. Bwa-ha-ha-ha

Nah, that role is still reserved for Maxwell Lord

Hopeful thinking: SyFy is doing a Booster Gold show (They confirmed they have the script and are working out the details a few weeks ago). Geoff and Dan are writing the JLI Annual. Geoff made the comment Booster is always a Time Master....what if DC is canceling JLI and will relaunch Time Masters, with some of the JLI (not characters like Guy, who is needed for Green lantern or Bruce, but others like General Iron) joining Booster to save the Time Stream or, with the rise of Earth 2, doing a Multiverse book?
deusex2 posted on May. 23, 2012 at 6:04 PM
Errrr....Yeah, about that...It doesn't look any good, to be honest. I mean I have no info on Booster Gold series, but there's already info on The Arrow(aka Green Arrow) show and it kinda sux:

At least that's my opinion. I can only hope Scy-Fy is using The Arrow as a crash course dummy for Booster Gold series.
And Time Masters-wishful thinking, dude. For Time Masters to be, there must be "historical events" gone bad and with "Nu52" those events either don't exist or they are completely messed up...Or there are going to be some brand new NU52 crappy, not worth of attention events in a universe most of us couldn't give a damn of.
That being sad, it can't be worse than extreme justice right, right?

Please, please, please don't challenge DC like that.
Morgenstern posted on May. 24, 2012 at 6:36 AM
Regarding Time Masters, Didio did comment that they dont want much time travel in the DCnU. Of course that can mean anything with him. At least he did not say that he loves time travel.
