DC promises that today's issue of Justice League International #9 will crossover with The Fury of Firestorm: the Nuclear Men #9, planned for a May 23rd release. Lately the growing international league of Nuclear Men and Women -- Firestorm Fan records at least 10 unique Firestorms in the DCnU so far -- have been dealing with terrorist bombings in France while the JLI have had their hands full with bombing terrorists in New York. Could these similar plots be more than a coincidence?
With crossover environments already established between the Bat-titles (via Batman and Batwing), the Green Lantern titles (via Guy Gardner), and OMAC, is the JLI becoming the keystone in the continuity of DC's New 52 Universe? The only way to find out is to buy this issue and make Skeets happy.

This is why we aren't seeing Skeets, the JLI isn't the lynchpin of the DCnU, Skeets is. It all makes sense, Skeets has become the new Oracle and is helping all these teams with information from the future. I can dream can't I?

I picked up my copy today and really enjoyed it! I'm still loving this book and am excited by the new members joining. If the solicits are to be believed, joining the team will be: OMAC, Firehawk, and Batwing.
The only piece I struggled with in this issue was the JLI taking OMAC with them to France. From a storytellers perspective, I totally get why they needed OMAC to travel to France with them. From the perspective of someone living in this New 52 world, I felt the rational was a bit hard to swallow.
Regardless, still a great issue with beautiful art! Loved it! Can't wait for FIRESTORM #9!
By the way, thanks for the shout-out for FIRESTORM FAN! Much appreciated!
