Continuity should enhance character development, but it should also never impede good storytelling. That's why the publishers don't bother, and it's left to those few of us with mental problems to waste our time in such academic pursuits.

I guess we can agree on that certain things regarding continuity don' really matter that muich (like which not-connected-story happens first), but what I dislike is when the character development seems to jump back and forth. Batman for example seems to jump between his douche-self (like in infinite crisis) and his "normal" self. Well maybe his jerk-personna is his normal self...don't know enough him, but I just can't believe that someone can be such a brooding loner when he assembles such a large team of sidekicks and fellow heroes (even before Grant).

ah and regarding the actual topic, there might be a (very) small chance of Booster having a Cameo in the 80s retroactive title for Superman as the cover shows (among many other things & events) an OMAC-unit which I guess means that infinite crisis is among the evens that will be (re)visited.

While not a direct BG-appearance the final issue of Batgirl has (besides managing to actually wrap up its storyline) a very nice drug induced sequence of pictures of what would have been of not for the relaunch. Among those pictures is an old black & white group-photo from WWII which shows a the three different Bagirls together with the Blackhawks...and Skeets. While Booster himself is not in the picture someone has to be handling the camera (and I simply choose to believe that it was BG)

Skeets? Skeets almost NEVER appears without Booster. (Off the top of my head, I am unaware of a single instance except during 52 when Skeets was a villain.) I'll look into it.

Unless he is dressed up as a Blackhawk he is not in the picture (hence my theory that he is holding the camera). But keep in mind that this is a drug induced dream sequence, so weird things are quite possible.

Though the issues itselfs is worth checking out, simply as an example on how do end a volume the right way.

on the blog http://dcwomenkickingass.tumblr.com/ there are Millers note about the sequence mentioned above. Based on them it looks like Skeets recruited the three Batgirls to find/save Booster who went missing during WWII.

I would have bought that story. (though that is not much of a surprise. A Booster Gold crossover with the only other DC ongoing I enjoyed..but of course not only are both titles cancled..but Bryan Q. Miller does currently not even have any new title at dc after the relaunch...)

Booster appears in the background of a scene in Titans #38, out this week. You can barely see him, he's part of a long group shot, has no lines of dialogue, and is only in that one panel, but he's there!

Thanks, Pat! I'm busy all day -- I made no plans for the comic shop, 'cause I figured there'd be no Booster today! -- but I'll try to look into it at my first opportunity tomorrow.

Site updated, Pat. I have to say, there are quite a few people at that funeral who I don't instantly recognize, like that fellow in black on the far left and the pudgy girl in purple in front of him. Any ideas?
