On Bleeding Cool there is an advance review of Flashpoint #4. The reviewer compares it to the Harry Potter sport Quiddich in which a field of players compete by flying around and shooting balls through hoops, but there are two players who chase after the golden snitch, and when it's caught it effectively ends the game. The reviewer ends the review with this:

And the book ends, in the midst of the bludgeoners, with a glimpse of, at least, a possible golden snitch.

They even get the colour right.

Could this be a possible Booster Gold appearance? What else is gold that may be able to fix things? Would they throw him into this so close to the end when he hasn't appeared at all in the main Flashpoint series yet? Hard to say but I guess we'll find out on Wednesday!

Is it not much more likely that it refers to the reverse flash?

That's what I was thinking when I read it, Morganstern, but the terminology of that last little bit really bothered me. I'm leaning toward Booster.

Plus, Geoff just ended Volume 4 of Green Lantern by punctuating a series that started with Hal Jordan's return with his departure from the Corps. Wouldn't it make sense if Booster played a big role in the conclusion of Geoff's last big crossover of this "era" after he was built up so much in IC and 52?

If he's going to be important to flashpoint like they says, He better be in it.

So has anyone read it? (Is actually anybody here reading this title at all?)

Confirmed. Booster Gold is NOT in FLASHPOINT #4. (To this point, he has appeared in NO issues of FLASHPOINT. Besides my disappointment with the reboot, I am beginning to have a major gripe with FLASHPOINT itself: the story is incredibly decompressed, and worse, it's very bland. This story could have been told in a single issue in a Silver Age FLASH comic with no loss of resolution. There are no surprises, trick twists, deeper meanings. The further this thing goes, the more it reads like a total BS marketing gimmick like the Kenner Justice League toy line crossover from 1996, TOTAL JUSTICE, one of the worst comics I've ever read from DC.)

However, Booster Gold does appear in this week's SECRET SIX #36. (Credit for the discovery to Tim Roberts of Heroes Comics Cards and Games of Newnan, GA, USA. Tim told me about it as soon as I walked in the door. You won't get that kind of customer service on Comixology, people.)
