New costume for booster looks decent, whos the lady in black?

I'm guessing Donna Troy. She's been on the JLA in "our" continuity along with Dick Grayson (who looks like he might be the Batman on this cover--check the belt out) and, being unofficially-officially from Themysciara, she could count as International and make this JLI officially the most really international ever.

Hopefully being saved for the big reveal of "Blue Beetles", starring Ted, Jamie and then mentor Dan Garrett.

LIke the look of Booster's costume. Seems to combined elements of the Kord Armor with his current costume...very nice.

Don't like the costume. I might if the gold was removed from the v-neck part to the mask section. Congrats to Jurgens but even though I had doubts about Winick I can't help thinking he earned the chance to be on this book. At least to be a co-writer.

Not sure how Booster could still be the leader if he's around people that don't know him that well. Maybe it's a revolving team? Jaime might go back to TT or get his own series. Though I remember Jurgens saying he likes the mentorship between Booster and Jaime.

And Guy is back on the team!

I gotta say I'm glad Jurgens is writing it, but I thought for sure Winick would be on the title. I'm also glad the team looks to be truly international, I LOVE the fact that Booster is front and center! The costume looks good, I'm sure we'll get used to it.

But with Jurgens writing this book, and illustrating Green Arrow, where does that leave Booster's solo series? If he even has one after Flashpoint.

I'd like to point out that, according to the synopsis, this is a team that was drafted. That means that, in the DCNu, they didn't form by choice...they were selected by their government sponsor (Max Lord? A new Checkmate? The UN?). As such, it makes you wonder about Booster being leader and his selection to the team...is there a chance that Booster is more respected in the DCNu? Maybe he never had his fall...maybe in this universe, everything only kept going up for Booster.

I'm also wondering if we will see Booster with his own second series. We know there have been hints that there will be a second Flash Series, so just because Booster wasn't solicted now doesn't mean he won't be in more than one book.

Also, they said all these books spin out of the events of Justice League...what does that mean then for the JLA and the JLI? Is the JLA sponsored? Are they considered more of a rogue group?

And who are the members? We know of most of them, but who is under the Rocket Red armor? Is that Donna...or Gypsy...or Black Canary, sans wig...or someone new?

Don't get the removal of Winick, don't get the costume change and don't particularly like it. Don't like the reboot. Don't like any of this. I won't jump until I see how bad it is, but I didn't even read the last few G/DM issues of BG despite buying them. I won't do that again.

Nothing against Jurgens at all and he's certainly a great choice for the book. I just don't see why BG can't just continue and why Winick can't keep the JLI.

It didn't say who drafted them but I'd hazard a guess that it was Batman. Didn't Didio say that only certain bits were getting rebooted? I just have a hard time seeing a storyline that went on for a year to help set up this book and Captain Atom being rendered completely useless after Flashpoint. So I think Max is still the bad guy. Even if Booster is more respected won't that still endanger him to time travelers that want to kill the greatest heroes and erase Rip?

Face: Same here. I could see if Winick already had a project lined up and didn't have time for JLI. He did say that while he was writing it he didn't have time for much else so he'd likely need the break. Booster already had a great costume so I don't see the need either. Not liking the reboot so far.

Has BG officially been canceled?
