Awesome. Much improved, Ezy. DC should give you a call.

Ha! If only!
Though I'd prefer a simple "out of events/continuity" title at Johnny DC :P

...which brings me to a question. Will the line "Johnny DC" continue under "the new 52"? Unchanged outside of it?

TINY TITANS has been solicited through November, so I suspect Johnny DC is sticking around. (Which is really, really strange. I guess they just won't use any characters omitted by the reboot.)

Johnny DC will continue? Hooray! Best news to have come out of DC's recent plannings!
I can imagine Art Baltazar continuing to use Silver Age/Golden Age/Post-Crisis/Pre-New 52 characters all mixed together without a problem. That's what he's been doing since the beginning!

I need to search some more infos on Johnny DC though.. will the Brave and The Bold book continue without the cartoon? And I've seen there's a cover for the "Green Lantern Animated Series on-going comic"
http://dccomics.com/dcu/comics/?cm=20716
And Billy Batson/Shazam's book continue too? Since Shazam! doesn't have a title amongst "the new 52", it would be stupid to cancel that..

Resurrecting this topic, because I thought it was fitting :P

Here's a "tribute" remade cover for JLI#1 I did:

Image
Full size: http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/268/0/d/ldn2011_cover_new52___jli_by_theeyzmaster-d4axo4z.png

It was done for something called the Live Draw Night 2011 @ http://outcaststudios.com/forums/
This was my entry for the last challenge where we had to remake an old classic comic book cover with DCnU characters.

So I did the only thing I could do...
The famous JLI group shot!

Took me a whole fulll hour and a half.
It is quite sketchy, cause that's what it is. Just a sketch!

Modified image size to fit page layout. (Booster Gold was getting cut in half, and I can't have that!)

Absolutely awesome cover Ezy. I wish they did a blank JLI variant cover so I could commission that from you!

Thanks Jobu! If only, right? :D

Don't worry about it, Eyz. I'd rather have you posting over-sized stuff here that I have to fix than deciding that it isn't worth the bother to fix yourself and not posting at all. You keep sharing the art and let me worry about the display size. Deal?
