What does everyone think of the Jim Lee redesigns? I haven't been too fond of the bulk of them. Although looking at the Hawk and Dove ones I have to wonder why he didn't do more simple changes like theirs.

Jim Lee is a good artist, that is where his talent ends for me. He should not be designing costumes, just drawing them. The most important lesson in life is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". The last decent redesign was when they finally letting J'onn wear long pants.

He did say other people helped him redesign. But a lot of them didn't need to be redo. Harley Quinn is on my list of weird make overs. I'm not sure about Red Robin, I think it could grow on me with a different artist.

He's a good artist but a pretty poor designer... And he probably said that to lessen the backslash from the fanboys,
From what I've seen, they mostly look pretty Jim Lee-ysh. Some guys probably put down on paper some designs, under Jim's specific ideas.
