Smallville Booster?

I've just found a photo of Booster and Blue Beetle from Smallville.

Booster seems very much in fitting with the look of Smallville's heroes, but I'm not sure about Beetle.

About time we got some sort of picture!

Ugh... not a fan of how things are looking like so far...
Well, it's Smallville, so..
(I would have preferred a transition comic-to-tv closer to what Hawkman got than the Flash or Cyborg...)

I think Booster looks great! I love the sponsor patches on his suit, 52 style. I think the shades work well too. I dare say this is the best costume Smallville has seen yet. Jaime looks okay, but I'll wait until I see it on screen and in motion.

Side-note: The past three seasons of Smallville have been my favorite so far. It's pretty much a straight-up superhero show now. And the two Geoff Johns penned episodes have been great, so I have high hopes for this one.

I'm indifferent to the costume itself. Things often look better "in action" on "Smallville" than they do in the ads. That said, I'm glad to see the sponsorship patches on the image. I think they were an ingenious addition in "52," and while I know and agree with why they can't appear in the monthly, I think something like "Smallville," especially when they appear to be telling a very specific KIND of Booster story, is a perfect place to bring them back.

I am actually a bit positive surprised..at least in regard to Booster. I think it is a good variation on his comic costumes that could work on TV. I also like the patches, but my one worry is that thy actually show him a hero. One with many flaws and a huge ego, but a hero nonetheless, instead of being simply a flying sell-out.

Now Jaime's look in the pic on the other hand...uh...yeah there is room for improvement.

I think it is interesting to note that this thread has posts from 4 people with 5 or fewer total posts. I think it's pretty obvious that we are all excited about Booster Gold on SMALLVILLE. Even if he does look like a low-rent knock-off of MYSTERY MEN's Captain Amazing.

I love the NASCAR vibe, which, as Russ said, was similar to his costume in 52, especially on one of the covers. Very cool indeed.

New pics of Booster showing that he doesn't have golden pants. Gotta say I like the look, especially in the second picture where he's posing. But I don't want to watch Smallville. I hope Jaime looks better later on.
