Will the success of the new Avengers film affect SyFy's development of the Booster Gold pilot? Instead of just greenlighting the project, with the phenomenal success of Avengers, will Syfy decide to "strike while the iron is hot" and put Booster on the fast track for development?

The probably should. But the most important thing is high production values. Not sure how much they want to spend on this, but it has to have the right look and feel and big action sequences that scream "superheroic". That doesn't come cheap.

And none of that matters if the script isn't strong. I worry that they will be forced to take the character out of the DCU. Booster is best as an everyman type representative in a world full of gods. But I think it might be easier and cheaper to just have BG be a guy from the future in "our" world trying to be the superhero we all want to be. Not sure that works as well.

To get very much in the way of SUPER heroics, I imagine they'll have to be creative with the budget. I'm not really expecting much in the way of interaction with other DC heros to begin with, I doubt Booster will have come back to replace Superman as the world's greatest hero.

If they just remember to include Skeets I'll consider that a happy victory :)
