First Booster Gold: 1987
Time for the ubiquitous casting call? I expect we'll be hearing news soon on the series casting choices (soon might be a relative term here) and I usually see "wish lists" for films (how many remember all the calls for Bruce Willis as Wolverine?) main stars. With that in mind I was wondering who everyone thinks would make a good choice for Booster as well as his supporting cast members.

I'm thinking Josh Holloway.
He has a good mix of humor, seriousness, and could he look more like Booster if he tried? He has just enough fan recognition without being too big to be realistically considered. And he doesn't seem to be very busy at the moment, BONUS!!!

Sorry but way too old. That guy is twice the age Booster is at the start of his hero career, and even if the "washed-up athlete" type does allow for a somewhat older starting age it would just not be right for the actor to be pushing 50 after a few seasons.

Also I just can't see syfy having the money to buy any well known actor. Most likely it will be someone we've never heard off. Which seems quite fitting considering, and did work out okay on Smallville.
