The reason I chose to be somewhat optimistic in that regard (a rare occurance for me) is that the guys behind this have written Booster before and got him right. I mean his single in the spotlight episode in JLU captured him pretty well.

Fansites, yeah they're out there but, I meant the lack of activity/ upkeep... unless that's recently changed due to ARROW.

I have nothing against GA either, but he's usually a PRETTY dull character, even his origin is one of the most unmemorable I can think of (especially compared to BG). He didn't, come from space, the future, a mythical island, watch his parents die, find a dying alien or get struck by lightning. He got stranded on a deserted island!?! (maybe JJ Abrams would be a better fit for his show).

I guess the 10 year show you mention is "Smallville"? He wasn't really a part of the cast until the last few years. Yeah it was a good show and a good (if not very deep) portrayal, for a supporting character. And he married Chloe, which I imagine has Canary pretty miffed (I'm not helping my argument here, am I?).

I guess the point I was getting at was, even after all these years and numerous appearances the character still feels generic to me. But I'm more a fan of the Hawkman character, so I might just be biased.

Undeniably, GA has more name recognition than BG, in large part due to his cartoon appearances but I doubt many fans will complain if he lives in Boston rather than Star City or whatever.

Finally, when I said I'm looking forward to our complaints, a). I hope they are only minor and b). that will mean we ACTUALLY have a show to complain about. And I can't think of a better thing to look forward to.

While we are talking about ARROW..I just saw the trailer and I have to say that it did not look horrible. And except for starling city I could not even notice any huge changes..than again I know hardly anything about him except that he is a mix between Batman & Robin Hood.

Thanks Mr M, you just made my point exactly. I even think he's wearing GREEN . I hope the show IS great, and that encourages SeeFee to put the same effort into Booster.
