planned DC one-shots...hope for Booster?

So it looks like DC is planning several One-Shots to explain/flesh out the background of the DCnU and its characters (something badly needed). And while there is so far no information which indicates any such thing, I am hoping that one of these One Shots might focus on Booster and explain how much of his past is still intact..or at the least one issue that is about the JLI in general and goes into all their backgrounds without interrupting the actual story line. (Which is already moving slow enough).

So..baseless speculation? Maybe..but has the demand for Gold not always been driven by exactly that? Why should it be different for the finest Gold of all.

I hate Bleeding Cool's vague reports. I don't see why we, the buying public, should be excited about a bunch of one-shots for a universe we haven't even had time to learn to care about. (Unless there is one dedicated to Booster Gold, of course.) But I see even less reason to be excited about the rumor of a possibility of a series of one-shots with no idea what they would really be about. Bah.

(As you can tell, I'm already in the holiday mood.)

We call that every-day-mood here.

Assuming this does happen I am a bit curious..simply I am eager to see how DC tries to handle their new timelime. This is less what you might call anticipation for new books...but rather what we call here 'Schadenfreude'.

I have to say, I can't ever tell when you're kidding, Morgenstern. But then, you are German, so it's probably never.

It is usually quite easy to tell when a German makes a joke, due the large drop of temperature in hell.

I don't see the need for one shots when the writers plan on explaining things in the main books. Yes there would likely be stories to tell with characters that aren't fleshed out as much as other like Vixen but as far as I heard a big selling point was reading the main books to discover these changes.

I'd get Booster Gold one shots of course or the much needed Rip Hunter one shot (yes it's needed) but not much else.
