Although it seemed to be heading that way in Gen Lost. As confirmed by the solicitation for JLI #2 that Booster is the leader of the Justice League International. Are any of you suprised? Especially with Batman on the team.

Solicitations aren't always honest, but this doesn't really seem like news. Especially not with Jurgens writing the title.

Batman has been a background team member before (both with the JLI and the OUTSIDERS), and has been moving into a supporting mentor role with Morrison's Team Batman concept.

I look forward to Booster bossing Batman around.

Not really a surprise per se as JLGL got the ball rolling but I'm interested to see how this will work given his Time Master status. Jurgens says that's still important. But how will he lead people like Vixen who express low opinions of him? Can he really be seen as the leader and get respect if he has to look like a joke to the public at large? With the members from JLGL I could see this working much smoother. They either worked with him in the league before, know of his secret work or are just as much of a misfit. I'd assume that someone, whether it be Batman or someone else, would cover for him. Guess we'll see.

Looking forward either way. And yes, I would love to see him give Batman orders. If I recall correctly, Guy tried to get leadership of the JL at the start of Jurgens JLA run so I'm also looking forward to his reaction to Booster getting leadership.
