Thanks, Eyz. You do good work! I'd heard about that Eclipso ad from someone -- maybe Shawn, but I hadn't yet found a copy of it. I've updated the ad list to include the new scan (and given you proper credit, of course).

This time I am certain I got one (or at least a new one). In this preview für JL #59 you can see Booster Gold and skeets (among many other characters) fighting..Captain Atom..who..should be lost in time. I don't know if he also shows up on other Panels (or maybe in previous issues of this arc) as I don't read JL and only saw the preview: http://www.newsarama.com/php/multimedia ... 442&page=2

Looks like I need to go to my LCS this week, after all!

Sadly I fear that besides BG and Skeets Cameo it won't be money well spent. After what I am reading this arc is considered on of the worst in recent history.

Just bought 'em and read 'em, and I'm not sure I understand 'em. The most disappointing part is that the fight between Booster and Captain Atom is imaginary. Pooh.
There seems to be a TON of story -- maybe even years' worth -- required reading leading into this issue. As a result, this issue was nearly incomprehensible to me. (It didn't help that the last page seems to be a trick to get the title where it needs to be to get cancelled: I'm not sure I can hold that last page against Robinson.)
I have to admit that this is a normal complaint of James Robinson's work for me. I know there are a lot of people who love his work on STARMAN, but I've never been one of them. For whatever reason, I've just never connected with his work emotionally or otherwise.

Uh..what is the last page of the comic? (I guess a reference to the reboot? Does the JLA get their 2 weeks notice?(

Essentially, yes. Last page spoiler follows.
On the next to the last page, Ray Palmer (the Atom) tells the JLA that this JLA line-up is one of the best ever. The next page "five weeks later" shows Dick Grayson (Batman) say, "for us, for our version anyway... I hereby adjourn the last ever meeting of the Justice League of America." The disconnect is so abrupt that Robinson has Congorilla make a joke about it.

thanks for the info but:
one of the best line-ups ever? That is a rather..unique statement I don't believe many will agree with. I guess it was most likely better then the short-lived version from 52 or the Detriot league....but that's about it.
but..if the fight Booster is in is not "real", does it still count as an appearance? (In other words, is the comic worthy of being listed on Boosterrific.com?)
