The heroes who escaped Amanda Waller's Amazo army attack in Absolute Power #1 have assembled in Superman's Antarctic Fortress of Solitude. Booster Gold is attempting to keep the peace between Blue Beetle and Red Tornado. Other heroes present are Atom Smasher, Batgirl (Cassandra Cain), Beast Boy, Black Canary, Doctor Mid-Nite, Mercy, Mister Terrific, Nightwing, Raven, Starfire, Superman, two Wonder Girls (Cassie Sandsmark and Yara Flor), and Zatanna.

Red Tornado is offended by Beetle's accusation that he might be another robot not in control of its own actions. This may seem bigoted, but in Beetle's defense, the android Red Tornado was originally created by Justice League villain T.O. Morrow in an attempt to infiltrate the Justice Society of America (in 1968's Justice League of America #64). Complicating their relationship further, when Beetle and Booster first met Red Tornado, the android had been corrupted into terrorizing Louisiana in Captain Atom #16. So, yeah, their relationship is complicated.

Superman arrives and ends the argument. This is Booster's last appearance in this issue.
Boosterrific Review: This "Absolute Power" tie-in is all exposition, presumably setting up events for future stories. Meh.
Boosterrific Rating: Gold Standard.
