ANNOTATIONS

Page 3, panel 2
Booster Gold is a firm believer in the old axiom, "there are no stupid questions," but his companions on the Justice League satellite Watchtower (Blue Beetle, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter) don't appear to agree. It is kind of hard to imagine that future-boy and superhero history buff Booster Gold has never heard of the Phantom Zone. The zone first appeared in Action Comics #283 in 1961.

Page 7, panel 4
Booster has been selected to accompany Batman and the other "A-list" heroes to rescue Superman because of his force field. How powerful is Booster's force field?...

Image Copyright DC Comics

Page 13, panel 1
...it's strong enough to resist the simultaneous attacks from three Kryptonians! That's a pretty strong force field!

Page 17, panel 1
Once Atom reveals his plan, Booster Gold flies in to carry Superman to safety. Is this Booster finally paying Superman back for the timely save in Justice League Unlimited #2?

Page 17, panel 5
Why is Blue Beetle telling himself what to do? Should this be Batman's line, or is there someone else hiding in the room? Mr. Mxyptlk, perhaps?
