ISSUE ANNOTATIONS

Page 3, panel 2
MEET THE PRESS: News cameras show Booster Gold and Skeets saving a woman, a child, and a dog from a crumbling building. Booster is presumably in Metropolis, which like the rest of the world is suffering from the catastrophic effects resulting from Eclipso's manipulation of the orbit of Earth's moon. This is Booster's only appearance in this issue.

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: The story of the Outsiders' battle against Eclipso seems to come more from the Silver Age rather than the post-Crisis 80s that produced the Looker's garish costume. Unfortunately, the good set-up isn't strong enough to overcome a lack of actual substance in the story. If it weren't for the beautiful if equally underdeveloped back-up story, "Freeway of Fear," illustrated by the incomparable Brian Bolland, this issue wouldn't be worth much of a read.

Boosterrific Rating:

Gold Standard.
