ANNOTATIONS

Page 5, panel 1
Martian Manhunter flashes back to a dangerous time on Mars: the Martian Bloodwinds. Perhaps not so coincidentally, for a time in the 1990s, Martian Manhunter masqueraded as a character named Bloodwynd.

Page 7, panel 1
Martian Manhunter says he is freezing to death. However, as demonstrated in earlier issues in this series, he is capable of surviving in the vacuum of space where temperature can approach absolute zero. I'm not calling the Martian Manhunter a liar, I'm just saying he might be exaggerating the situation.

Page 19, panel 3
Martian Manhunter finds the minds of the captured Justice Leaguers trapped by Starro. Visible are Batman, Black Canary, Booster Gold, Fire, Flash, Ice, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern (John Stewart), Superman, and Wonder Woman. This is Booster Gold's only appearance in this issue.
