FASHION ALERT: Booster Gold demands that Martian Manhunter tell the League the truth about his relationship to Bloodwynd II. Booster wears a pair of high-waisted Hammer Pants, as popularized by the performer MC Hammer at the dawn of the 1990s.

Page 3, panel 5
Blue Beetle II joins the conversation between Booster and Manhunter. He is wearing his costume and is apparently fit for duty despite recovering from his prolonged coma just last issue.
Page 9, panel 1
Booster watches silently as the Atom II and Beetle examine Bloodwynd's mysterious gem. Even with his powers, Booster wouldn't have had much to do in this story.
Page 14, panel 3
Demonstrating his heroic spirit, Booster Gold rushes to the Martian Manhunter's aid, recovering Bloodwynd's burning gem and reattaching it to the dying Manhunter's chest, despite sustaining injury from the mystical gem himself.
Page 15, panel 4
Booster and Beetle are stunned to hear that in the absence of Superman, the Justice League's most powerful member is the Ray II. This bit of information is provided by a creature named Rott who is trapped within Bloodwynd's gem. The conversation with Rott and his new ally, the Weapons Master, is transmitted to Booster and Beetle through the Atom's headset communications device. So though Booster doesn't actually meet the Weapons Master or Rott in this issue, he is a party to communications from each of them.
Boosterrific Review: This gem of an issue (pun intended) begins to explain the mystery of Bloodwynd, define the role of some new Leaguers, and reintroduce a recent foe with an axe to grind against the League, all in spite of the introduction of a lackluster new villain. An entertaining read.
Boosterrific Rating: Worth Its Weight In Gold.
