Page 8, panel 1
Rocket Red appears in armor of Apokolipsian design for the first time. Barda will explain that this armor is much more powerful than his previous armor, though considerably low-tech by Apokolips standards. Lobo destroyed Dimitri's Soviet government issued suit in Justice League International #18. The state of Rocket Red's armor will be of interest to Booster Gold later.

Page 20, panel 6
Hawkwoman calls Hawkman "Katar." And so begins the nightmare that will become Hawk-person continuity in the post-Crisis on Infinite Earths DC Universe. (Hawkman was named "Carter" as recently as the previous issue.)

Correction: You treat the fact that Hawkman is referred to as "Katar", when he had been called "Carter" in the previous issue as a continuity gaffe. It is not. The pre-"Hawkworld", Silver Age Hawkman was known by both names. He was Thanagarian police officer Katar Hol,and he lived on Earth among humans in the guise of Midway City museum curator Carter Hall. -- noted by Raymond Tomczak.

While most Justice Leaguers are irritated by Hawkman's (apparently fictitious) blustering reminiscences of the past, Booster naturally finds his stories enchanting.

Page 22, panel 1
Before anyone can stop her, Big Barda teleports the entire Justice League except Captain Atom to Apokolips to combat the Cluster and Darkseid's Para-Demons. This is Booster's first visit to Apokolips.

Boosterrific Review: Ty Templeton temporarily takes over the art duties for this issue. Templeton's clean shapes and minimal shading are ideally suited for a trip to Kirby's Fourth World. Only the most hard-core fans of regular series artist Kevin Maguire will be dissatisfied by this issue.
