Page 13, panel 4
POWER UP: The Justice League America arrives in Russia only to find themselves faced with an inevitable battle against Sonar's minions. Heroes present include Agent Liberty, Bloodwynd II, Booster Gold, Fire, Flash III, Guy Gardner, Maxima, Maya, and Wonder Woman. Booster Gold appears to be flying into battle, so his Legion Flight Ring presumably survived the battle against Doomsday even if the rest of his arsenal did not.

FASHION ALERT: The JLA joins battle against Sonar's brainwashed minions, comprised of members of the Eurocrime (Brautwurst), Global Guardians (Olympian, Owlwoman, Rising Sun, Wild Huntsman), Injustice League (Multi-Man), Royal Flush Gang and Copperhead. Other brainwashed combatants pictured in following panels include Baron Bedlam, Big Sir, Bushmaster, Calimari, Cluemaster, Dr. Mist, Godiva, Gyro, Impala, Jack O'Lantern L'Escargot, Little Mermaid, Lutefisk, Major Disaster, Thunderlord, Toad-in-the-Hole, and Tuatara. Fire is shown fighting the Global Guardians in her green fire form. Just as Booster's weaponry was destroyed in the JLA's battle with Doomsday, Fire's power was also lost. Her use of her powers in this issue while Booster's weaponry is destroyed is something of a quandary. This inconsistency is likely the fault of inconsistent editing on the part of the Justice League editor Brian Augustyn.

Booster Gold interrupts an argument between Crimson Fox and Flash. He uncharacteristically uses the word "chums" to describe his companions. ("While in Europe,..." I guess.)

Combatants shown include Agent Liberty versus General Glory, Bloodwynd II versus two Rocket Reds (which results in the destruction of one of the onion domes of St. Basil's cathedral in Moscow's Red Square), Booster Gold versus Dr. Mid-Nite, Guy Gardner versus Green Lantern I, Maxima versus Rocket Reds and Wildcat I, and Wonder Woman versus Tasmanian Devil. They are also present for the re-resignation of Aquaman and the induction of Maya and Tasmanian Devil into the League before teleporting back to New York City.

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: It is easy to forget that there is any story behind the series of action-pose pin-ups that comprise this issue. Sadly, the art of these pin-ups is not good enough to excuse this lackluster effort in the final, disappointing issue of Justice League Europe.
