Following the defeat of active Justice Leaguers at the hands of the super-power adapting Amazo, the Justice League reserve members arrive on the scene. Heroes pictured include Animal Man, Aztek, Black Lightning, Bloodwynd I, Blue Beetle II, Booster Gold, Captain Atom, Creeper, Elongated Man, Fire, Firestorm V, Jade, Lightray, Mister Miracle, Obsidian, Power Girl, and Ray II. Of all these heroes, the only one to have never met Booster before is Aztek, the Ultimate Man. Aztek's active role in the league was brief, and came well after Booster left with Extreme Justice.

FASHION ALERT: Booster is inexplicably wearing his old Mark IV armor. Why Booster wears an outdated armor is not clear. At least the Mark IV armor had only been previously mothballed, not destroyed like the Mark I and X exoskeletons. Incidentally, this is Booster's first battle against an Amazo android, though Booster had previously battled other androids built by Professor Ivo in Mister Miracle, Vol. 2, #7.

In the aftermath of the battle with Amazo, Booster stands with the recovering Justice League. Pictured are Animal Man, Aquaman, Atom II, Batman, Blue Beetle II, Captain Atom, Crimson fox (with h0od mistakenly colored yellow), Flash III, Huntress II, Kyle Rayner (Green Lantern), Martian Manhunter, Obsidian, Power Girl, Ray II, Steel III, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Zauriel. Again, Booster has only one new acquaintance pictured: Zauriel. The angelic Justice Leaguer has never previously met Booster Gold on-panel. Zauriel joined the Justice League in place of Hawkman when writer Grant Morrison was barred the use of Hawkman during his infamous editorially-imposed sabbatical due to long-standing continuity confusion.
Boosterrific Review: A great story of the Justice League against one of their most powerful foes, Amazo. Sure, the conclusion may be a little gimmicky, but in an enjoyably Silver Age way.
Boosterrific Rating: Worth Its Weight In Gold.
