DON'T MAKE 'EM LIKE THEY USED TO: After charging Gardner in order to protect his friends, Booster is knocked out of the fight by a single punch from Gardner. Booster's current Mark IV armor is no match for Gardner's new Vuldarian-based powers. It seems that almost every time these two have met recently, they've come to blows. (Maybe it's a Guy thing.)

Having recovered from Gardner's punch, Booster joins the Justice League in assaulting an oversized alien Kraggz that has attacked the Justice League Refuge. Other heroes present in the fight are Blue Devil, Fire, Flash III, Hawkman IV, Ice Maiden I, and Nuklon.
Boosterrific Review: Beau Smith's version of Guy Gardner could doubtlessly defeat both Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme with all four limbs tied behind his back, if this issue is any indication. This comic reads like a low budget 1980s action film starring the ridiculously invincible super-bad-ass Guy Gardner in place of Chuck Norris. The art team of Chin, Branch, Lanning, Ramos, and Loughridge provide panels that are the eye-scratchingly bad equivalent to the over-the-top and under-budget special effects of a direct to video science fiction film. In short, this issue is great if you like laughably stupid and ugly action-oriented comic books.
Boosterrific Rating: Fool's Gold.
