DON'T MAKE 'EM LIKE THEY USED TO: After charging Gardner in order to protect his friends, Booster is knocked out of the fight by a single punch from Gardner. Booster's current Mark IV armor is no match for Gardner's new Vuldarian-based powers. It seems that almost every time these two have met recently, they've come to blows. (Maybe it's a Guy thing.)

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: Beau Smith's version of Guy Gardner could doubtlessly defeat both Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme with all four limbs tied behind his back, if this issue is any indication. This comic reads like a low budget 1980s action film starring the ridiculously invincible super-bad-ass Guy Gardner in place of Chuck Norris. The art team of Chin, Branch, Lanning, Ramos, and Loughridge provide panels that are the eye-scratchingly bad equivalent to the over-the-top and under-budget special effects of a direct to video science fiction film. In short, this issue is great if you like laughably stupid and ugly action-oriented comic books.
