Issue Notes: Booster Gold appears in this issue, though apparently in error. While it is possible that Booster has traveled into the past to witness the Crisis on Infinite Earths, he has never been seen to do so. Booster Gold did not return to his past until after the conclusion of the Crisis, and is recognized as DC's first post-Crisis hero.

In the words of Peter Duling of ProjectFanboy.com who pointed out this Booster Gold appearance: "it looks a lot like Booster Gold, but it doesn't make much sense, since this panel occurs during Crisis on Infinite Earths which, if I'm not mistaken, is before he officially made [his] debut."

Booster Gold is clearly seen in the sky above Metropolis during the Crisis on Infinite Earths. Though it is possible that Booster may have traveled through time to visit the Crisis, it is more likely that this is an error in the memory of the narrator, who tells the story through flashback. In his own words: "the weird thing is, even now, after all these years, I don't know of any two people who remember what happened that day quite the same way."
