ISSUE ANNOTATIONS

Page 25, panel 2
Booster Gold appears among other heroes that Flash III discovers in the stomach of the Taker. The panel looks very similar to a Booster's imprisonment in an alien ship in Justice League America #68. Other heroes in the alien's stomach include Batman, Deathstroke, Demon, Green Lantern II, Guy Gardner, Nightwing, Panthra, and Wonder Woman.

Page 53, panel 1
Booster appears in an assembly of all the heroes gathered to fight the alien menace, both old and "New Blood." Pictured heroes include the "New Blood" Anima, Argus, Chimera, Edge, Geist, Gunfire, Hitman, Hook, Jamm, Joe Public, Krag, Lionheart, Loose Cannon, Mongrel, Myriad, Prism, Razorsharp, Shadowstryke, Slingshot and Sparx and the more familiar heroes Atom II, Batman II, Battalion, Bloodwynd I, Changeling, Deathstroke, Dr. Light IV, Elongated Man, Etrigan, Flash III, Green Lantern II, Guy Gardner, Hawkman III, Killowat, L.E.G.I.O.N. (Layla, Lobo, Pax, and Vril Dox II), Martian Manhunter, Maxima, Nightrider, Nightwing, Pantha, Power Girl, Ray II, Red Star, Redwing, Robin III, Roy Harper (as Arsenal), Superboy III, Superman, Tasmanian Devil, Terra II, and Wonder Woman. To date, this is the single largest gathering of heroes that Booster has been pictured alongside.

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: Perhaps DC should have quit while they were ahead. This issue shares all of its predecessor's flaws without any of its redeeming attributes. Clearly the only reason that this issue was published was to promote a new group of largely insipid (but extremely 1990's-styled) characters. With a run-of-the-mill story and few endearing or enduring characters, the highlight of this comic book is that it is a window into the 1990's DC Universe.

Boosterrific Rating:

Tarnished.
