ISSUE ANNOTATIONS

Page 14, panel 3
In his only appearance in this issue, Booster Gold calls Barbara Gordon from a public telephone to seek her assistance in locating Blue Beetle II. Gordon, as Oracle, has assisted the latest incarnation of the Justice League by providing information and tactical assistance. Gordon has also been romantically linked with Beetle, who aided Oracle's Birds of Prey team on several occasions. It is implied through Booster's dialogue that he has had prior communications with Oracle, though the two have never before been shown to communicate. This is Booster's only appearance in this issue.

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: For as hard as this issue tries to tell two action-packed stories about undercover infiltration of organized crime, the issue is hijacked by recurring, overt reminders that Black Canary has serious daddy issues. While this may be interesting for fans of the Black Canary, it is probably a case where a little less would have gone a longer way.

Boosterrific Rating:

Gold Standard.
