Page 18, panel 2
"Week 36, Day 7." Supernova and Rip Hunter are combining the Kryptonite gauntlet of Lex Luthor (last seen in 52 Week Twenty), the Cosmic Staff of Starman VII (who used the energy-manipulating rod built by his father, Starman I, as a super hero defending Opal City), and the Dimensionmeter of the Shadow Thief (a Hawkman villain who used the Dimensionmeter to turn himself into a two-dimensional shadow in order to commit crimes) to build something of undisclosed purpose. Rip Hunter is the Time Master of the DC Universe, first appearing in his post-Crisis on Infinite Earths incarnation in Booster Gold #13.

As they discuss their situation, Supernova mentions that Skeets II has been hunting for Rip Hunter. To this point, neither Skeets nor Supernova have encountered one another, so how Supernova came into possession of this information, hinted at in 52 Week Twenty-Seven when Skeets killed Waverider, remains unrevealed.

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: The end is nigh! The story of Animal Man has almost ended. The story of the Question has almost ended. And the story of Supernova has almost ended. Clearly, the curtain is rising on the final act of the stories contained within 52.

It must be said that everyone involved has done a fantastic job keeping the audience's attention through what would normally be 3 years worth of stories. What few complaints could be made against the series through this point are minor in comparison to the praise that it earned.

Boosterrific Rating:

Worth Its Weight In Gold.
