Page 14, panel 2
EXTRA, EXTRA: "Week 31, Day 4." Again, Supernova is prominently featured on the cover of the Metropolis Daily Planet newspaper. The altruistic and camera-shy Supernova somehow manages to gain more press than media-friendly Booster Gold ever was able to.

Page 15, panel 1
Ralph Dibny and Supernova meet on the roof of the Daily Planet Building to discuss Wonder Girl's infatuation with Supernova. Ever the detective, Dibny reveals that Supernova is definitely not Superboy III, though his clues about Supernova's powers and identity are less than illuminating. The identity of Supernova has been a riddle asked since his first appearance in 52 Week Eight. While Wonder Girl speculates that Supernova is a reincarnated Superboy III, Lex Luthor and Intergang have postulated that Supernova is really a disguised Superman. Whatever the case, Dibny seems to have puzzled out the answer, as Supernova confirms that Dibny's guess of his identity, whoever it was, was correct.

REVIEWS

Boosterrific Review: Over halfway done with the series, the stories of the series are approaching the close of their second act and as a result it would seem that the forces of evil have the upper hand. Of primary interest to us is the interaction between Ralph Dibny, who appears to be on his last legs, and Supernova, who hints that he may be on a bigger mission than simply replacing Superman. Theirs is a telling meeting, confirming that it is not Superboy masquerading as Supernova and revealing that the two heroes are on a first name basis. The plot, as they say, thickens. This is good for long-time readers of this series and those who have access to several back issues to catch up on some references, but may be a bit confusing (in some cases intenionally so) for a casual reader.
